Not actually a dog breed as such, the Maltipoo is a popular cross of the Maltese and Poodle, known for their playful and friendly nature. energetic and delightful, they will fit into all kinds of homes: apartment or house, family with kids or elderly single.

Maltipoos are very affectionate and would make a good choice for a beginner pet parent. but, they are very sensitive and don’t like being left alone for lengthy periods of the day. As companion dogs, they need the company of their humans and may get separation worries when they do not get the attention they want. But if you have a loving home that meets their needs, you will have an affectionate family member who can dish out plenty of cuddle sessions.

Personality

A clever, loving, playful dog who normally gets along well with everyone he meets. Calm and loyal, Maltipoos enjoy their days just resting on their owner's laps or walking beside them. They can also be energetic and lively, and enjoy a good play session just as much as they enjoy a long cuddle. They are vigilant and make brilliant alarm dogs, but do not count on them to offer any kind of defence. Like all dogs, Maltipoos need early exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences — when they are young. Socialisation helps guarantee that your puppy grows up to be a well-rounded dog.
